I’ve been quite busy of late, in part completing this particular poem I’ve entitled “The Fourth Power”. We’ve scheduled a show to narrate this latest piece on Sat. Nov. 14 @ 5PM EST. We did run into some problems with this show…. please advance the player to 6:50, when the show actually begins. The intro song was Robbie Robertson, entitled Showdown at Big Sky. I would also suggest one of my other favorites by this former The Band member (with Eric Clapton) called Fallen Angel.
Here’s a short synopsis:
Battles are raging in the astral realms, while in one reality on earth, a transition of the yugas is about to transpire. Entire settlements of astral entities have disappeared and the path leads to a hellish world of created beings, who are using an illegal tryst to launch their soul harvests. The Aeons respond to an arbitration request and send one of their agents to unravel the enormous puzzle, for on the Earth, the World Teacher has appeared, and there is clear evidence uncovered of a strange collusion between the hell realm and those bent on fully enslaving humanity. In a daring move, Vishnu’s physical host is assassinated, even as the kings of Agartha and Shamballa, as well as Lord Kalki, are readying their forces for battle. But prophecy requires 4 Horsemen… who, among the gods and goddesses, has the integrity and wisdom to be The Fourth Power?
Because of the complexity of the characters involved and the role they play in what some claim is happening right now – we are on the cusp of Satya Yuga – I’ll be exploring not only their history but their context as well, within a much larger picture. While the idea of a new golden age is enticing, as detailed in sacred Hindu texts, I will examine whether this “end times” scenario is idyllic. There may well be some hidden costs to this new “freedom”.
To understand the scope and complexity of distilling Hinduism into a single cogent image, as it pertains to their end of days predictions, one must reference many sources. And not all of these sources are in agreement. As a small example, most adherents consider Hinduism to be monotheistic and yet…. their own texts expound on the existence of numerous gods. Clearly, there is some disparity here. In a final distillation, most branches will agree on an ageless and unknowable prime force, which does or does not interfere in the affairs of humanity, depending on the version and belief. Hinduism has undergone many changes in both theology and doctrinal beliefs over many centuries. At one time, King Varuna was said to be the divine creator, only to be replaced with a succession of other entities over the ensuing ages.
As a researcher, when one encounters unmistakable parallels in belief systems/mythologies, which describe an identical action by identical types of characters, seeking out the prime source becomes paramount. For instance, in the west we take for granted that only prophecies and predictions of “Judeo-Christianity”, as outlined in their Bible, hold any relevance or veracity. Would you be surprised to find out that “riding a pale horse and carrying a huge sword” as Jesus will allegedly be doing, was actually taken from Hinduism and their prediction that the Kalki Avatar will arrive in the same way…. and do the same job Christians think of their “savior”.
So I don’t seem to pick on western religious mythologies, let’s take a quick look at the legendary Homeric writings which detailed an ancient conflict known as The Trojan War. To say “war” as in singular, is not quite correct, for there were a series of battles for control of Troy, including with the infamous Amazons. One source stated that they actually captured Troy for a short time, while others proclaim Queen Penthesilea to be one of the greatest heroes of that particular war. While Paris’s actions may have surprised the Hellenic world, this narrative was already well-established in the Hindu texts, thousands of years before Homer’s epics were conceived.
The Ramayana is one of Hinduism’s most sacred texts and details a crafty plan with the same framework as Homer…. but with some added ingredients. Ravanna, a “demon king” is enticed to kidnap Sita, the wife of rival King Rama. Forces are marshaled, including a host of “sprit beings”, a final battle is fought after extended warfare and the wrong doer is killed. One very notable addition involves a rakshasa princess named Surpanakha, who provided the “enticement” for the kidnapping.
Consider another “parallel” in the Baha’i faith, which essentially confirms that Hiduism’s Kalki Avatar is their “savior” known as Baha’u’llah. Another source suggests that the enigmatic Nostradamus predicted the “world teacher” who would be known as Mabus. Because this information plays a role in my latest poem, I want to spend a short time on this mysterious character.
It is distressing to see the number of “scholars” who equate Mabus to the infamous “Anti-Christ” based on the interpretation of only one quatrain where he is mentioned by name. Check out the sheer wackiness of some here. The reference to Mabus is as follows, as found in Century 2, Quatrain 62:
“Mabus then will soon die, there will come
Of people and beasts a horrible rout:
Then suddenly one will see vengeance,
Hundred, hand, thirst, hunger when the comet will run.”
This clearly states that the cataclysms will result as a consequence of his death…. and not by his hand or any action that he takes. One could go a bit further and suggest – not unreasonably – that Mabus is assassinated because he stands in the way of some force or power. The reference to the comet, some contend, suggests a precision missile strike, that takes out a world leader-type figure and there is a massive military response to it. Some contend that one other quatrain, Century 2 Quatrain 70 may predict this “assassination”, likely during an important speech. But you decide:
“The dart from the sky will make its extension,
Death speaking; great execution.
The stone in the tree, the proud nation restored,
Noise, human monster, expiation.”
To complicate things further, another source suggests that the “Fourth Seal” of the Bible’s Revelations actually refers to the emergence and mission of the Kalki Avatar and its new “Golden Age” is actually the Satya Yuga. And that the return of the messiah Jesus is none other than
So…. if any of this abbreviated post interests you, chances are that you will really enjoy my latest poetic epic The Fourth Power.
